Secrets to a Better Tan
Develop a Base Tan First
You want to develop a base tan by initially tanning frequently at a mild to moderate exposure level. We recommend tanning six times over a nine or ten-day period to responsibly develop a beautiful bronze base tan. Yes, it is OKAY to tan on consecutive days so long as you DON'T burn. No individual session should result in excessive reddening. Once a base tan is achieved clients typically tan anywhere from 1 to 3 days weekly depending upon their goals.
How To Develop an Even Tan
Alternate between stand-up and laydown beds. The ends of a tube-shaped tanning bulb put out less UV than the middle. Tanning beds with facial lamps solves this problem. Tanning booths with extra long lamps with a 5-inch riser also solves this problem. Try alternating between stand-up booths and laydown tanning beds. Our Clifton Tanning place has the area's best selection of standup booths and the newest laydown beds.
Maintaining Long Lasting color
You can decrease the frequency of your tanning sessions after attaining your base tan. Typically one will drop down to two to three tanning sessions per week. This will easily maintain a significant level of melanin by using the quality tanning equipment you will find at Euro Tans and Spa

Euro Tans & Spa was founded in 2001 primarily offering Premium Hollywood Tans Standup Tanning Booths. We were a top salon though competition was fierce in the early days. We outlasted them by providing the best experience, prices, and results and by 2013 we introduced waxing Hair Removal services to offer to the area, including the surrounding towns of Woodland Park, Montclair, Paterson, Wyckoff, Haledon, Oakland, and many other towns.
